It all started …
As it often does, when the stars aligned.
My career started in artificial intelligence, and I have always held a fascination for it, but I took a different path. Recently, the field has exploded. In the past few years, three critical things have come together: computing resources, an abundance of data, and a rich toolset of maturing machine-learning algorithms and prebuilt libraries.
Today, we are all benefiting from AI and machine learning with things like web searches; digital assistants like Alexa, Siri, and Google; recommendations on shopping sites; and intelligence built into apps like Salesforce, Facebook, and LinkedIn to anticipate your needs and automate actions. However, there is so much more that can be leveraged to create business opportunity and competitive advantage personalized to your business.
I took the opportunity to start a company to help others discover this rich environment of possibilities and look forward to helping you on your journey to discover what AI and machine learning can do for you.
There is also dark side to machine learning, just as there is a dark side to any type of automation, but in this, Saturn AI can help educate and steer you around these pitfalls as well as advise you on the social and ethical issues that may arise.
